Help center / Mailboxes

Connect any other provider (SMTP and IMAP).

Titan, GoDaddy, Hostinger, Namecheap, IONOS, cPanel hosting, your own server and more.

Any mailbox that offers SMTP (for sending) and IMAP (for reading replies) works.

Providers with settings filled in

Choose your provider and we fill in the servers for you:

  • Titan
  • GoDaddy
  • Hostinger
  • Namecheap Private Email
  • IONOS
  • Rackspace
  • Yandex
  • Fastmail
  • cPanel or Plesk hosting (Bluehost, HostGator, A2 and others)

You only type your email address and password. Some providers need an app password instead (for example Fastmail and Yandex). The connect screen tells you when.

Not listed?

Choose Any SMTP / IMAP and enter:

  • SMTP server and port (usually 465 with SSL, or 587)
  • IMAP server and port (usually 993 with SSL)
  • Your email address and password

Your provider’s help pages list these details.

cPanel and Plesk hosting

Most hosting panels use mail.yourdomain.com on ports 465 and 993. We fill this in from your address. If it doesn’t work, check Email Accounts, then Connect Devices in your hosting panel.

What we check

We sign in to SMTP and IMAP before saving, and send a test email. Passwords are stored encrypted.

For SMTP mailboxes, we also check your provider’s sending servers every day: reverse DNS and the Spamhaus blocklists. See Domain and server checks.
